Anita Davis' Obituary
Anita Louise Davis, 80, of Okahumpka, FL, passed away on September 5, 2025. Anita was born in Mescalero, NM, to her loving parents; Julius and Cosette (Jarboe) Weiss.
Annie grew up in New Mexico and eventually relocated to El Paso, TX, where she owned and operated Annie D. Suzuki. Annie was quite adventurous and enjoyed riding motorcycles and racing mini sprint cars, at which she was very talented.
Annie eventually relocated to Phoenix, AZ in 1985. She was an avid golfer and traveled around the country golfing with her friends. She was a pleasure to be around and aside from her great sense of humor and gentle soul, she was also very creative. She made wonderful pieces of jewelry and bolo ties using old watch parts, which she called "watch-its". Annie also had a deep love for music, everything from rock and roll to classical guitar and Indian flutes. She collected CDs and especially loved Pink Floyd.
Anita lived a full and beautiful life, she will be missed dearly by her family; a sister; Gayla Franks, a daughter; Cindy Menendez and her husband Joe, two granddaughters; Maggie and Molly and a cousin, John Pierre Zubialde.
