Angela R Schneeweiss' Obituary
We are heartbroken to share that we have lost our beloved Angela this past week, September 8th, 2025. She was a loving wife and a beautiful soul, and her loss has left an immeasurable void in our lives. Even in her final moments, Angela's selfless nature shone brightly. She made the courageous and compassionate decision to be an organ donor. Her final act was a gift of life-a profound testament to her generosity and unwavering desire to help others. She chose to give so that others may live.
“Her Life's Testament in the words of her Loving Husband Neil Schneeweiss”
Angela was a beautiful person, more than just my wife of almost 21 years; she was my soulmate, best friend, and confidant. She was my world, my everything. Her absence has left a void in my life that I will never be able to fill. She was a devoted mother to our daughter, Samara Lily, who came into our lives as a miracle after Angela was told she couldn't have children. She also became a loving mother to my two sons, Evan and Jordan, from my first marriage, embracing them fully as her own. She was a beloved sister to her younger brother Andrew and a wonderful sister-in-law to my sisters. If you were fortunate enough to be called her friend, she was a friend of the utmost caliber, willing to help at a moment's notice and never expecting anything in return. She would often say, "That's what friends do."
To know Angela was to be welcomed with a heartfelt hug and a firm handshake. She was a kind, deeply spiritual soul who loved the earth and all its creatures, from the smallest wildlife to her beloved dog, Chevy Cooper. He was her constant companion, going everywhere she went, sleeping in our bed, and loving his daily walks on nature trails, where he would play in puddles and help her rescue plants. She was so devoted to him that she cooked his daily meals with real meat and vegetables, refusing to give him processed food.
She was a passionate baker, creating treats filled with family tradition, and a legendary snack maker for every occasion. No meal or gathering was ever too big for her to prepare. She loved to live a larger life, embracing challenges with a tenacious spirit. She saw no job as too big and could carry three times her weight, both literally and figuratively.
Her passions were boundless, from roller coasters and Disney to ghost hunting and exploring the paranormal. She loved reading, especially books about vampires and some romance that offered a little bit of naughty spice. A believer in reincarnation, she even sought out haunted houses to stay in, like the one in St. Augustine. She overcame her fear of heights by climbing to the top of the St. Augustine Lighthouse and, in her younger days, went skydiving and hiked mountains.
Angela decorated to the max for every holiday, especially Halloween, Christmas, a and Hanukkah turning every s season into a grand celebration. She found peace and joy paddle boarding on local springs, with Silver Springs Park being her sanctuary. Her many hobbies included exploring the world of antiques, sewing, and fixing anything that was broken. She loved to garden, finding relaxation in her green thumb, and she took joy in teaching our daughter how to drive and change a flat tire. She also believed in natural remedies, such as essential oils and homeopathy. With her mantra of "Recycle, recycle, recycle," she always wanted to make the world a better place. She had her own special way of seeing things and a phrase for everything, like "Doing the Do's and Time for the Cozy n'night at bedtime. We called them Angelaisms."
It is our hope that she will be remembered not for the way her life ended, but for the countless lives she touched and the incredible gift she has given. Angela did not take a life; she unselfishly gave to others, and through her generosity, she will live on in the hearts of many. Her final wish was to save lives, and she has fulfilled that wish in the most beautiful way. We are incredibly proud of her. We ask that you honor her memory by cherishing your loved ones and living with the same kindness and compassion she showed the world.
