Alva "Al" LaClair Gregor, 89, Leesburg, FL passed away on January 19, 2015 in Leesburg, FL. Mr. Gregor was born on May 16, 1925 in Marion, New York. Mr. Gregor was a former Operating Engineer for Teamsters Local #386 of Rochester, NY. He moved to Leesburg 30 years ago from Newark, NY. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during World War II and Korea as a Paratrooper, and was very active member of the New Life Presbyterian Church of Fruitland Park, FL. He was a member of both the Elks and Moose Club both of Leesburg. He loved dancing with his beloved wife Edith and going for coffee. He is survived by his Children: Kathy Kellogg of Reno, NV, Vicki Gregor of Newark, NY and Ed Tyler (Vickie) of Niceville, FL; Ten Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife’s, Pauline, Dorothy and Edith; his son, John Gregor and a brother, Russell Gregor. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 10:00AM at Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg, FL.
