Alice Hite Carlton's Obituary
Alice Hite Carlton age 70 passed away Sunday, April 10, 2015 in The Villages, Florida. Alice was born in Richmond, Virginia and moved to the Weirsdale, Florida area in 2004, from West Point, Virginia. She was a homemaker and is described by those closest to her as a woman of strong Christian faith. She made friends easily and was adored by children. Alice was a great cook and anything she cooked was always great! She was happiest when she was working in her flower garden, or crocheting, but spending time with her family is what made her happiest. Alice leaves behind her loving husband of 11 years, James Carlton; 2 daughters – Misty (Randall) Jones of Warrenton, VA; and Linda (Steve) Reaves of Aylett, VA; step-sons - Randy (Dena) Carlton of Mascot, VA; Jeff Sloan of Fruitland Park, FL; a sister – Ann (Robert) Hogge of Shacklefords, VA; grandchildren – Brittany O’Bannon of Warrenton, VA; James Calvan Bolton of Middleport, NY; Ambre Lea Bolton of Richmond, VA; and Kevin Dean Reaves of Aylett, VA; Robi (Courtney) Carlton of West Point, VA; and Samantha Carlton of Mascot, VA; great grandchildren – John Norris O’Bannon IV; Keegan Greer O’Bannon, and Brady Carlton.
a Celebration of Alice's life is planned for 4:00 PM - Saturday at Grace Baptist Church in Belleview, Florida. Another service in West Pointe, VA is being planned and will be announced soon.
