Alfred Douglas Ladd, 69, Bradenton, FL. passed away on August 6, 2012 in Sarasota, FL. He was born on October 30, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to his parents Alfred V. and Phyllis V. Ladd. Mr. Ladd moved to the area in 1968 from Devils Lake, Michigan, and was the owner of Clark’s Tree Service Inc. in Bradenton. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of The Manasota Elks Lodge, the Moose Lodge in Bradenton and in Ohio the Eagles Lodge. He is survived by his loving wife Doreen Ladd of Bradenton, FL.; three sons: Gary L. Ladd, Michael T. Ladd both of Bradenton, FL. and Troy D. Ladd of Virginia: two daughters: Katrina L. Ladd of NC, and Lisa M. Kocmich of Bradenton, FL.; two sisters: Marcella Craig-Martino (Joseph) of Bradenton, FL., Evelyn Hughes (Jack) of Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren. Proceeded in death by a sister Margaret Herbert of Ohio. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00am at Skyway Memorial Gardens, Palmetto, FL.
