Aileen C. Hobby's Obituary
Aileen C. Hobby, 89, Summerfield, Florida lifelong resident of Central Florida went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2019 at Summerfield Suites in Summerfield, Florida. Aileen was born on February 17, 1929 in Orlando, Florida to her parents John Newton Carter and Gertrude Lenora (Hancock) Carter. She was a lifelong resident of Central Florida and was a longtime member of Bay Street Baptist Church in Eustis, Florida. She was a former Clerk for the Lake County Tax Collectors Office. Aileen was a loving, nurturing person who deeply loved her family especially children. She loved to work in her yard and go fishing and was known by all as the “Neighborhood Mom” all the children loved her. She deeply cared for her animals especially her cats and birds. She is survived by her son: Lewis Hobby and his wife Sissy; a daughter: Sheryl Parker and her husband Dave; a son-in-law: Tony Terry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband and her daughter, Debbie Terry. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 12:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg, Florida. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00AM till the hour of service at the funeral Home. A private burial will take place later at Highlands Memorial gardens in Forest City, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations ma be made to Kindred Hospice in Aileen’s loving memory. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.pagetheus.com.
