My thoughts and prayers with the Burdin family. I have so enjoyed the times my mother, Joanne, and I face-timed Aunt Vicki theses past few months. She had such great spirit and kept working at the positive. What a wonderful lady. Last summer we also had a wonderful time sharing all her Kalamazoo haunts with her sister and brother as we phoned her and chatted about where we were and what we were doing. She was ecstatic to be included even if it was by phone and not in person. It always felt like she was right there with us. We will miss you Aunt Vicki.

I always remember Aunt Vicki with a smile on her face. Such a giving spirt and loving heart. She gave me the best cooking tip ever Ross, we went to a HUGE flea market one winter in Florida and she showed me the best "real"vanilla in the world. She was appalled I bought the imitation vanilla. I must say my cooking went up several notches after that.
Thinking of the Burdin and Cobb Clans and wishing I could be with you all right now, but I send my love, prayers, and belief that she is no longer suffering.

Vicki was a great sister and I loved her so much she was a great hit at school as she sang like a bird and all the kids loved to have her around to help them out with the tune. She had boyfriends galore and one even picked her up mornings calling her from across the street. "Icki, Icki time to go to school." She was always sweet and so lovable, I will miss her very much ...her loving sister

Mom, I am going to miss you. I am glad you are at peace and in Heaven. You were the best cook ever and I really thank you for your giving spirit. I am going to miss going to church with you and sitting with you every Sunday in Sunday School in the service. You said "Don't cry" but it won't be easy without you. I am glad you aren't in any more pain and with Jesus. We will be praying for Dad since it is hard on him too. I know I will see you again one day in Heaven. As Pastor Alex said life is in God's perfect timing.
