Anthony Thomas Tenore age 92, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, Florida. Anthony was born in Newark, New Jersey and moved to the Parrish, Florida in 2006 from Homosassa Springs, Florida. He spent more than 70 years of his life as a salesman in the automobile business before retiring. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church Parish, Florida. He was also a proud Veteran of the U. S. Air Force and served as a Sergeant during WW II. He will be remembered by his loved ones as an OUTSTANDING cook (specializing in Italian Cuisine) who enjoyed being outdoors playing golf or fishing. He also had a reputation as man who could build or fix ANYTHING! He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years – Vera; His adoring daughter – Linda Tenore Singer and her husband Judge Mark Singer of Parrish, Florida; the pride of his life, his Granddaughters – Veronica Grace (Doug) VanDyke of Parrish, FL; and Rebekah Lynn Baumgardner of Las Vegas, NV; and two adored great-grandsons – Joshua Douglas VanDyke and Noah Thomas VanDyke. Tony was loved by all who knew him. He was a man devoted to his family, always had a good story and offered a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at Skyway Memorial Gardens on May 12, 2012 at 10:30 am.
