My Friend Steve,
We had become friends at an early age in grade school. Through grade school we would always do the typical young kids adventures and Steve would always be the level minded one keeping all our group out of trouble. In junior high and high school we had become true best friends, we would work on his old boat of a car and electrical experiments.. When he had free time from work and college we would get together and have some adventures. He then met Lee his true love, you could see that they were true sole-mates, Laurie, myself, Steve and Lee would always get together and go somewhere or hang out. They had opportunity in Florida so off on their adventure of life that brought them their beautiful children Jack and Molly. Over the years we would see each other a little more time in between and each time it was as if I saw him yesterday. We would talk shop, and ongoing things but most of all was his pride of his most loved children.. So with a Deep Heavy Heart and tears down my cheeks I write this for you Jack and Molly, your Dad is always apart of you and he always cherished you both. Lee I do not have any other words but that I am deeply sorry for your loss of your sole-mate.

Having known Steve since his late high school days in the mid 80's when he was dating his future wife/my sister, all I can say is how much he cared so well for others and his family and always had time for them. I was also always amazed by how knowledgeable and well respected he was in his field of power distribution systems and his electronics wizardry. A great husband, father, and brother-in-law.

I have known Mr. Steve quite literally my entire life, and I am forever grateful for his impact on it and how it has shaped me into who I am today.
Every time I saw him, he was always kind, compassionate, and friendly (even when Molly and I were not on our best behavior!)
I have too many memories to list, but some of my favorite memories with Mr. Steve include floating down a freezing cold river with him in Mexico, and the time he (attempted) to take Molly and me on a ghost tour in St. Augustine.
