I was blessed to have Martha in my life. She was the kindness and loving lady I knew. She was always so happy to help anyone with anything! I know God has a very special place in heaven for Martha. I also know she will always be with us and watching over us. The Hawthorne Quilters have lost not only one wonderful quilter, but a dear friend. Rest in Gods arms Martha, you have earned it.
Thank you for being my friend.
Janet, Herb and family, Our true condolences are with you and your family. May Martha Arndt rest in God's Glory.
You were the best Granny in the world and will be greatly missed. Thank you for leaving behind so many things that I can hold close and remember you by.... YOUR QUILTS! My house is full of so much of your handiwork from pot holders to quilts to quilted bags to a crochet hook organizer you made me. There are reminders of you EVERYWHERE, not that I could ever forget you!
Ever since you took a turn for the worst I've been sleeping with the baby quilt you made me. "Spanky" (that's his name) has wiped away a lot of tears over the past few days.
I'm glad that you got a chance to meet my sweet little girl Emma James and I wish that you could've met my precious Jack Jack too.
I hope you find my Dad in heaven so you can catch him up on the last 29 years. I know I'll see you again one day Granny, until then my heart aches for you... Love, Your grandaughter Emily Maxwell
So sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. Prayers for your families. I remember her from when I was in high school with Emma. Bob and Pam (Ouellette) Clarady
