Dorothy was a sweet energy when I worked at the HCSD. When I came on shift on her floor she was always so cheerful and committed to helping people navigate their way. If you asked her for the strangest thing, she had one in her office!!

Ed and I have such wonderful memories of Dorothy. She had a heart of gold. She would always be there when anybody needed anything. She made everyone feel welcome and always happy to see them. We will forever cherish the beautiful crocheted throws she made for us. She made them with so much love. Hopefully all the wonderful memories will help you though such a difficult time. I met Mrs. Labreque in my first year working for the Sheriff’s Department. She was truly a hard working, very organized and a huge helping hand person. She made smile and laugh and I learned so much working with her. She had a huge heart for us all. She will be missed and my condolences to her family.
I met Dorothy and Stan on their wedding day, which I attended as a plus one. From that day on we were fast friends. Dorothy was more than a friend, she was a sister to me. I have treasured our relationship for 20 years and will miss her laugh, sense of humor, zest for life and her unwavering friendship. Rest in peace my friend. I love you.
