Wesley C. Yeko, 93, Leesburg, Florida passed away on October 4, 2019 at his residence under the loving care of his family. Mr. Yeko was born on November 10, 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to his parents Norbert Yeko and Myrtle (Miller) Yeko. He and his late wife Pauline moved to Leesburg, Florida in 1976 from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Wesley was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Leesburg. He had worked in his earlier years as a machinist and time setter for Falk Corporation. He then became an Insurance Agent for the Aid Association for Lutherans. Wesley finally became his own boss by becoming a local handyman helping people and utilizing his skills to design and construct useful rooms and additions. Wesley had served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theatre. He enjoyed square dancing with his late wife Pauline, he also liked to swim and enjoyed working and creating items that were beneficial to those who used them. He is survived by his loving daughters: Kathi Malachowski of Fruitland Park, FL, Janis Case of Leesburg, FL, Lynn Noel of Leesburg, FL and Bobbi Shreffler of Ft. Myers, FL; six grandchildren: Neal Hernandez, Tony Malachowski, Carleen Malachowski, Nicole Case, BreeAnna Hidalgo, and Katt Shreffler; thirteen great-grandchildren and two loving nephews. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Pauline, a sister, Arline and a grandson, Ryan Shreffler. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.pagetheus.com.
