Tristan S. Pope

Tristan S. Pope, 22, of Eagle, Idaho passed away suddenly and tragically on February, 16th, 2022 in Leesburg, Florida. Tristan was born in Boise, Idaho on October 2nd, 1999 to Valerie Bartus/Pope and Jesse Pope. Tristan defied societal norms since a very early age for all the right reasons. Although he had some struggles in his youth, he excelled and always found happiness; the last six months of his life were some of the most promising and exciting. His intelligence and his way with words were deeper than most could ever hope for. His sense of understanding the universe leaves his mother with the comfort that he was destined for a better realm than this one. His presence lit up so many smiles, and his absence will be felt across the country. His kindness to animals, and amazing sense of humor were loved by all who knew him. His laugh was infectious. Tristan had a special bond with his 16 yr. old sister, Ari, sharing favorite pastimes like swimming at the lake, and camping trips. Their laughter together was priceless. Tristan participated in the Boise Young Marines program in middle school; and graduated from the Idaho National Guard Youth Challenge Program in Pierce, Idaho in 2016, always stating those were “the best months of my life." He excelled at football and track in high school, and recently went skydiving and began flight school, to pursue his dream of earning his pilot’s license. He wanted to see the world. Tristan had many different jobs in the last few years, searching for the best path to success and happiness. He had decided he found it traveling, and working in Florida just a short few months ago. Tristan loved to chase beautiful sunsets and was fascinated by the moon. He had a passion for attending music festivals all over the country. He loved volunteering at the Idaho Humane Society, and just visiting a lonely shelter dog on a free day. Tristan is immediately survived by his mother Valerie, sister Ari, Regan Perotto, father Jesse, great grandmother (Little Grandma) Paula, sister Capri, and his sweet dogs Frankie & Shyla. Tristan leaves behind many loving friends and extended family. Tristan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, grandmother and her husband, great grandfather, and paternal grandparents. A Celebration Of Life will be held for Tristan at The Barn at Hidden Springs located at 4768 West Farm Court, Boise Idaho 83714 on Saturday, April 9th from 6PM to 9PM with Dinner and Live Music.
