Mr. Vankat was born on April 12, 1933 in Calcutta, India to his parents Subramanian Venkatraman and Janaki Venkatraman. He was a former Structural Engineer in the Building and Construction Industry for S & K Associates. Tandan and wife moved to Tavares, Florida 7 years ago from Gaithersburg, Maryland. He was of the Hindu faith. Mr. Venkat attended Bengall Engineering College in India. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Saroja Venkatraman of Tavares, FL; his son: Giri Venkatraman, MD and his wife Kelly of Orlando, FL; two loving grandchildren: Maya Venkatraman and Alexis Venkatraman.
