Rhoda H. Hux Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rhoda H. Hux (1929-2019) went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ on December 5, 2019 in Leesburg, Florida of natural causes. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 17, 1929 to the late Hall and Addie Henry. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Is preceded in death by William Robb and Dr. Robert H. Hux. She is survived by her three children, Marshall(Patricia), Michael (Michelle), Julie Oliver (Bob), her older sister Milly Henry, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many special cousins, nephews and nieces. Rhoda loved her family, her church and friends, and was a peaceful woman who had a positive outlook on life. She was a devout Christian and lived the Christian life. Rhoda obtained a liberal arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University of Richmond, Va. and a Masters degree in psychology from Stetson University of Deland, Florida. She served the Leesburg community as a marriage counselor for over ten years. In addition she volunteered for many local charities and service clubs. She volunteered faithfully for Over 25 years for the Pregnancy Care Center of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. She was presently a member and volunteer of Grace Tabernacle Church. There will be a service for Rhoda on Saturday December 14, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Grace Tabernacle Church in Wildwood, Florida. Arrangements are conducted by Page -Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Tabernacle Church and or Campus Crusade for Christ.
