Kristi K. Finch Scott age 50 passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Tavares, Florida after an extended illness. Kristi was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved to the Lake County area over 30 years ago. She was a self-employed commercial painter. Those closest to her remember her as a free spirit with a kind soul and that she was someone who was never afraid of hard work. She was always ready for an adventure and she radiated self-confidence. She loved to fish her secret hot spots and loved to read suspense novels, but most of all she loved her family and adored her 5 grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters – Bobbie Jo Scott of Missouri; and Stephanie Finch of Sebring, Florida; brothers – Robert M. Finch of Orlando and Timothy S. Finch of Sebring; sisters – Barbara Revels of Okahumpka; Mary Christley of Leesburg; and Jennifer Mendez of Leesburg; grandchildren – Lucas, Timothy, Harlee, Joshua, and Dayna. A celebration of Kristi’s life is planned for 4:00 P. M. Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the Page-Theus Funeral Home in downtown Leesburg.
