Jay was a father to me when my own was causing me nothing but grief and heartbreak. I never got to say goodbye to him due to not getting along with his family, and I regret it every day. He will always be in my heart and remembered lovingly.

I worked with Jason many times over my 20+ year wrestling career in Florida. He was always so much fun to work with. I remember one time down around Lakeland, we got dragged into working this backyard wresting show out in the woods. Once the backyard guys were done, we took over the ring and totally destroyed the place. I remember hitting him with anything I could grab onto, and he took such a beating that night and laughed it off. Typical of the Deadman gimmick. As I was playing the heel, I will never forget that his antics made me break character in the ring because he made me laugh with his antics. What started out being a crappy night as we didn’t know we were doing a backyard event, turned out to be so much fun because of Jason. I will never forget you brother. I know you will be tearing it up in that wrestling ring in the sky.

When I first moved to Florida from Ohio Jason was one of the first 3 people I met he helped me out with some stuff in wrestling and became my brother and will always be my brother. Know that you will be forever missed my brother. Now go when that title in the heavens but when I get there I want my shot at it. RIP MY BOTHER

Your heart was big and you loved hard. You always made everyone smile with your humor and silliness. I love you my brother. I'm glad you're no longer in pain and so glad to know you're walking the streets of gold. See you soon my friend.
Jason always knew no stranger. Always could make you smile. He will forever be missed by all of us who were close to him. -Char
