Alissa Faith Lumpiesz
May 28, 2014 - April 17, 2022
Alissa Faith Lumpiesz, age 7, went to her heavenly home on April 17, 2022. Alissa was born on May 28, 2014, in Orange Park, Florida to her loving parents, Kyle Michael Lumpiesz and Brandi Shae Watkins. She was a resident of St Johns, Florida and was a student at Cunningham Creek Elementary School. “Alissa Prissa” as she was affectionately called by her family, was full of fun and laughter. She was quick-witted with a gift for vivid story-telling that she’d often weave into written words or works of art to leave around the house. She loved camping with family and especially her cousins, crafting and painting with Mommy, sewing with her Nana, reading with Papa, and gardening with her Nonna. She also loved to cook with her Aunt Lisa who said about Alissa, “She was full of conversation and always making people laugh. Her larger-than-life personality would fill whatever space she was in.” Although fiercely independent and competitive, rejoicing in her wins, she would be just as happy playing dress-up and video games with her older sister, Aubrie. She loved playing golf with her dad but liked to cuddle up with him on the couch just as well. And she could always be found hanging around a bowl of fruit. Yes, Alissa loved fruit of any kind. She enjoyed going to church with her family especially when it was time for Vacation Bible School. This acrostic of her name embodies the beauty of who she was and will forever be in our hearts. A-rtistic L-oving I-ntelligent S-elf-confident S-trong A-mazing, animated and authentic Alissa is survived by her parents, Kyle Michael Lumpiesz (St Johns, Florida), her mother, Brandi Shae Watkins (Leesburg, Florida) and older sister, Aubrie Lumpiesz; maternal grandmother, Sandra Hart Watkins (Leesburg, Florida); paternal grandparents: Barbara and Michael Lumpiesz (St Johns, Florida); loving aunts and uncles: Lisa and Paul Ottendorf (Jacksonville, Florida) and Christopher and Kellee Lumpiesz (Maryville, Tennessee) and cousins: Brock Ottendorf, Luke Ottendorf, Aleksis Lumpiesz, Autumn Lumpiesz, Jackson Lumpiesz and Parker Lumpiesz. Alissa was preceded in death by her beloved paternal grandfather, Butch Watkins. Please join our family in remembering the beautiful life of Alissa on Saturday, April 30, 2022, 10:30 AM at Chets Creek Church — Hodges Campus, 4420 Hodges Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida. Following the service there will be a gathering of family and friends at Woodland Parke (Jacksonville Golf and Country Club), 12777 Hunt Club Rd. 32224. Parking at Woodland Parke is limited. A continuous shuttle to the park will be available at the JGCC Clubhouse, 3985 Hunt Club Rd. Although Alissa’s favorite shade was black, her favorite color was lavender. She loved all bright colors. Please consider wearing a bright color to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation be made to Kids and Car Safety at https://bit.ly/391zT93. Kids and Car Safety is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to saving children's lives in and around vehicles.
