Alfred Morton Yeakle

Alfred Morton Yeakle passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the age of 100. Alfred was born on February 7, 1912 in Springhouse, PA to the late Alfred and Elsie Yeakle. Alfred served his country in the U.S. Army in WWII, and worked as a civil servant carpenter for the Navy following his service. In 1950 he moved to the Orlando, FL area, and retired to the Lake County area 25 years ago. Alfred was a lifetime member of the VFW, and a member of AARP. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Edna (Skinner) Yeakle in 2002. Alfred is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Yeakle will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Page-Theus Funeral Home. Visitation will be in the funeral home from Noon until the time of services.
