Didn't realize how many memories I really had with Skippy until reading all these posts....We went golfing, played softball, did the WD gig and even played card with him and You. As always Love and Miss you. You were truly a great guy.
Skip Mills was my Son In-law for Many years, We went through good times & bad times together, He was very Caring & Loving & an Amazing Father to his Son's. And he was more like my Own Son to me, (not just a Son-inlaw) Skip will hold a place in my heart forever & will be missed so much. Rose Barlow
What can I say about Uncle Skip... a few things come to mind at first... Muscles, funny, a great personality, a great dad, an athlete, a great friend. I have many memories of spending my summer days at their home in FL. Myself, Skipper and Scotty... playing with all the Star Wars toys for hours on end. Watching Uncle Skip and my father lift weights and train together as we argued over who's dad was lifting the most weight, spending a day at the beach with our friends and family. I had no idea at the time, but those really were the good ole days. Amazingly, those days don't seem like so long ago. Strange how time passes so quickly. Sometimes I wish I could close my eyes and go back for a little while. Skip will be missed by many, and remembered by us all. Thanks for the memories Skip.

My father was the man I wish I could be. His heart was golden and his chin was strong. And oh man was he funny. He had a way that he would laugh that I will never forget. A lifetime athlete. He was strong, fit, and fast. He was a concerned coach to me in life as well as in my own sports. His work ethics were strong as well. We never went without anything we needed. He had no enemies besides cancer. My heart hurts but I know he is not in pain anymore. All we can do is have faith that Jesus is now showing him around his new castle. YEs my father was one hell of a man. I love my daddy. I will miss him deeply.
