I will always be thankful to Tony & Linda and I am extremely thankful that Tony did whatever Linda said or I wouldn’t be where I am now 😘. I owe you both so much. When I think of Tony, I picture him giving me the side look with a smirk and laughing that unique A”Tony” laugh. I got that one a lot. Whether at work or out at night you could always rely on Tony to be Tony. He was very genuine and truely a GOOD person. The world lost a good man, but God gained an angel that I’m sure will not only be watching over Linda, Tony Jr & Scott, but all of his family, blood or not. Rest In Peace now Papa Cheese. I will see you again one day. 💕💕
Affectionately known as Pappa Cheese,Tony was the essence of what it means to be a true friend and respected leader. I first knew him at his last duty station in Pax River supporting the new E-6 program. He later became my co-worker and close friend at Eagle. Together we conquered some near impossible challenges. Many was the time we spent weekends and worked all night writing proposals for new contracts. His first week at Eagle, he worked around the clock to win a Lakehurst New Jersey logistics support effort. Linda was not happy to say the least, so we sent her roses to calm her down and get her forgiveness. Another time, Tony, Linda, and I went to a five year celebration party at Lakehurst. Tony had a few too many and we could not find him. We searched everywhere and finally found him at the bar in a happy-go-lucky mood with a big smile and his necktie hanging from his forehead. Linda was once again a unhappy camper and escorted him with his tie in hand to their room while chastising him every step of the way. And finally there was the time we went on travel together and had to share a room. Was I ever shocked when he began snoring. It sounded like a bear had wondered into the other bed. After an hour of covering my ears with two pillows, I gave up and slept in the car.
On a serious note, Tony was a consummate professional who quietly and effectively handled all situations. You could always count on him for solid advice or a stern kick in the butt when you needed it. Many a time he put me on the right road when I was about to stray. He was the calm in the storm with his disarming smile and witty sense of humor. He was well liked and loved by all that knew him, peers and subordinates alike. Regardless of what I did, he had my back and sung my praises to put me on a pedestal, even when I did not deserve it. He was also there as a personal friend, lending a hand to help me with all the little jobs it took to get into a new house I bought close to him and Linda. Women shop at Belk's and Tony and I spent hours on end shopping at Loews. I will miss my BEST FRIEND and never forget the many good and memorable times we shared.

It has been a great blessing in my life to have Tony for a friend. Tony and I were both stationed in Hawaii with Patrol Squadron 22 in 1971 - 1972 and have been friends ever since. I can still see Tony leaning on the maintenance control counter in the hangar, all suited up to fly, with that big "signature" smile on his face. Tony has always been a happy, good natured person and enjoyable to be with. Tony is a man who loves the Lord, his family, his country, and his friends. He is dedicated to all of them. I am very sad that I won't see Tony for a while, but I rejoice knowing that Tony is living with the Lord now in Paradise. I am sure Tony is there and happy, and I look forward to seeing him again one day in the future.
Linda, Tony, and Scott, I share your sorrow that Tony is not with us right now but we can take solace knowing that Tony lives and will never die.

I knew Tony for 57 years, because my sister was his beloved wife. He loved everyone and was loved in return. In the last few years when we would meet for lunch, Tony and I would have a great discussion of the things of the Lord and how He impacted our lives. We probably got on everyone else's nerves, but he and I always went home full of joy. I will miss our great talks, but will always hold them in my heart. Save a place for me, my brother!

We thank God for the privilege of knowing and enjoying Tony's friendship. He was one of the finest men we've ever known. Tony was an honorable man with a gentle soul and a sharp but sly sense of humor...always had that special twinkle in his eyes. Tony cherished Linda, his wife and love of his life; and, he dearly loved his sons and grandchildren. Although we are saddened by his passing, we rejoice as we are sure he is now joyously singing with the angels in the heavenly choir and happily serving his Lord and Master.
