I am so thankful I had been able to stay in contact with and visit Jim during the last 50 years. He made my time in Viet Nam bearable and so much safer for the 11th Cav G Troop. I will be forever grateful for his friendship and humor.
Every time we visited Sanford, he shared, laughingly, the stories, fun ones only, of time together, but especially when he picked out his Jaguar and the "help" I gave him!
His presence will be missed by many, but I trust that he is at peace.
